Cheyenne beaded moccasins. Buffalo hide painted in yellow ochre. Beadwork is an overall checkered (basket-weave) desgin with 2 rusty-red stepped chevrons and a silver metalic row of same design in the middle. The remainder of the background is the checked deign in clear glass beads and a border extending around the back in metalic, rusy-red and clear beads. Sole is rawhide. |
