Description |
Iroquois glass beaded moccasins. Beadwork is mostly clear glass beads in the shape of a butterfly with colored wing tips on black fabric background, outlined in white beads, black border, and more white beads. Shoe is gathered at beadwork and hide appears to be a reddish color, giving a velvet appearance. Black ankle collars with white beaded edge and finished with red fabric trim, ca. 1900. |
