Beaded Chippewa moccasins, ca. 1890 with a central red and black floral motif. Beadwork is on black velvet, outlined in greenish yellow beads; cuffs are also a black velvet fabric with a row of yellow, blue, yellow flower pattern, finished with a green leaf on each end. Edging is finished with red embroidery. |
